Do I need a passport to travel to the US Virgin Islands?

A passport is not required for US citizens arriving from Puerto Rico or the US mainland. A valid ID such as a driver's license is sufficient. However, if your plans will include visiting other neighboring islands, a passport will be necessary.

The resort is a 20 to 25 minute drive from the airport.

How do I get to Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina from the airport?

Airport taxis are available at $14 per person (plus $2 per luggage). Taxis are lined up along the curb right outside baggage claim. Inform the taxi dispatcher that you are going to Sapphire Beach Resort, and he will direct you to the appropriate taxi.

What are the dining options at Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina?

The resort features a breakfast bar with a wide selection of coffees, smoothies, hot breakfast sandwiches, and some basic personal care items. Sapphire Beach Bar is located right on the beach, offering a food menu in addition to your favorite cocktails. The resort also houses the restaurant "Sudi's Caribbean Bar & Grill" located to the right of the resort entrance. Of course, each condo is also equipped with a full kitchen for your cooking and dining convenience.

Should I rent a car while on the island?

The resort has everything you need for your stay - a fully equipped kitchen, bar, restaurant, water sports rentals and fishing expeditions. If you plan to dine out, go shopping, or take day trips to other parts of the island a car would be helpful. If you choose not to rent a car, you can still get around by taking local taxis or the safari bus (local public transportation). The bus stop is located right outside the resort entrance.

What forms of payment are accepted on the island?

The US Virgin Islands use US dollars. Cash and major credit cards are accepted forms of payments at most commercial establishments. Local taxis and safari buses accept only cash. Resort amenities, such as bar, restaurant, and water sport rentals accept both cash and credit cards.

Where can I buy groceries?

Moe's Fresh Market is located in Red Hook, a 2-minute drive from the resort. The supermarket carries a wide array of produce and groceries that you may need. A pharmacy is also located in Red Hook to meet your needs.

I don't have a PayPal account, how can I pay for the reservation?

You do not need a PayPal account in order to process payment. Simply click on "Check out as Guest" to enter you credit card information and complete the reservation.
